You may not wire, cable should have a device for generating heat. Same as used in the small space heater, electric stove, etc.. He has a special insulation around the wire can handle the high current flow and heat generated by electricity. With a standard cable to the lamp increases the likelihood of fire or electric shock. One provider I use this cable is www.mcmaster.com (.)

Any device that operates on the principle of overheating on a task that heats the wire. Iron, for example, is a toaster others. has to do "anything with the power outlet, but a lot with the question of how much electricity does not pull. My thought is that if you worked all these years, there is no real reason, which should not be pursued to achieve. Electricity is the same as in the 1940s, when the cable is damaged or in any way, I say, it should go
good luck to ya

Yes you can.
There are in the points today.
If you think the cable is bad.
Just slide the cable sets for internal and replace the cable.
